Professor Madame’s Gin

Professor Madame’s Gin line is designed to be reminiscent of the old style of steeped gins. A collaboration in Rome, it draws on craft experience to create a gin that straddles the line between aperitif and gin. The botanicals are steeped directly in grape spirit, rendering them in the form of an Old Tom in the bathtub/combined style Tasting Notes Uses a floral selection from the botanicals, It is designed to serve as a “feminine” counterpoint to the offerings All juniper is grown in Italy The variety includes a pair of relatively unusual plants Tansy is a wildflower common in Europe that was seen in cocktail manuals in the 19th century as a good ingredient for steeping in gin. Dudwari, or white turmeric, is native to Southeast Asia and is described as having a “mango aroma” but a ginger flavor.
