Hendrick’s Orbium Gin The distilleries that brought us our beloved Hendrick’s Cucumber and Rose Gin have come up with another great innovation: fermented gin. By infusing their spirit with quinine and absinthe, Hendrick has created a complex and interesting drink that pays tribute to what is often mixed with gin: tonic and vermouth. The quinine and absinthe flavors are rounded out by the blue lotus blossom, which adds bright floral notes to the blend Tasting Notes The initial green floral notes are followed by a sharp touch as the quinine and absinthe wash down. This woody bitterness, carrying hints of mint and pepper, lingers on the back of the tongue, while flavors of citrus, cucumber, juniper and rose petals also emerge.
