Bayou Liqueur Satsuma Rum is a hand-distilled product from fresh sugar cane grown locally in Louisiana. Our signature recipe uses 100% single-ply molasses produced by the oldest family-owned and operated sugar mill in the United States. We then hand-distill each batch using copper pot stills and age them in 200L bourbon and sherry casks. It’s craft spirit making at its best. Tasting notes on the nose have a sweet aroma of cinnamon and orange. On the palate it is sweet citrus with a smooth finish
