Angostura Oloroso Sherry Rum The second release from the range is a 16 year old rum from Trinidad that has been allowed to age for 10 years in American oak barrels before being transferred to previously used French oak barrels that previously contained the Cognac for the final 6 years. Interesting barrel finishes are clearly not reserved for whiskey as only tasting notes of citrus are dialed in here, but it remains fruity with figs and raisins. It’s still quite nutty, though
